Project Overview

The Empire Parking Garage is a new multi-level parking garage with first level retail spaces to serve downtown Billings, Montana. The parking garage is designed to house approximately 540 stalls on parking on 6 levels.  The first level has garage entry, speed ramp to second floor, private parking area and approximately 16,000 SF of retail space. The project replaces an older smaller parking garage and also increases the parking available in the downtown Billings area.

Challenges and unique characteristics:
> Alley utility relocations and upgrades prior to garage construction.
> Bridge access across alley to serve newly renovated Northern Hotel.
> Public / Private Ownership.  City project with condo ownership of portions of garage parking and retail areas.
