Project Overview

OAC provided construction management services for a new Public Safety Building for the City of Kirkland. Located at the City’s geographic center, the building optimizes police response times, reduces inmate transportation and housing costs, and provides increased parking for the Municipal Court.

The new, 105,000-square foot Public Safety Building adds forty beds to the city’s jail capacity, and includes enough room for a potential 30-bed expansion. The building also houses the new police headquarters and three new courtrooms.

Services for this project include contract and bidding, project management, and on-site construction management.

This adaptive re-use project is LEED Silver project.
