Project Overview

In 2012, Plum Creek Timber engaged OAC to provide project management services for their corporate headquarters relocation and tenant improvement. OAC entered the project during Plum Creek’s lease negotiations with building management at Two Union Square. Through guidance from OAC, Plum Creek Timber was able to get building management to adopt a new lighting standard for Two Union Square, switching from fluorescent lighting to LED lighting with dimming capabilities in individual private offices in order to save energy.

In terms of office design, Plum Creek Timber sought to maintain a few of the classic lines of the old space while infusing a new modern feel that would give a facelift to their corporate image. OAC engaged the architecture firm Perkins + Will to design an office that would boast both elegance and quality. Some highlights of the new space include the use of Plum Creek Timber hardwoods in woodwork throughout multiple locations of the office.

Plum Creek desired the highest of quality in all aspects of their tenant improvement and OAC was able to ensure this quality was achieved in design and construction. The space exemplifies the sophistication and beauty of the forests that Plum Creek Timber manages across the country.
