Project Overview

Located in the beautiful Methow Valley, the Town of Winthrop hired OAC to manage the design and construction of a cable-stayed bridge over the Methow River.

As an active recreation area, the bridge provides a safe route for pedestrians and cyclists from the south end of downtown to the center of town. The 380-foot-long bike and pedestrian bridge marks the beginning of the Susie Stephens Trail, and is a defining feature of the downtown area. The bridge design incorporates features that make it consistent with the town’s western theme.
