Project Overview

The new Tahoma High School and Regional Learning Center is a 320,000-square-foot, advanced education facility capable of serving 2,400 students. The school features a three-story classroom wing; a major athletic complex; an advanced performing arts center; and career and technical education-specific classrooms.

At the time of its construction, Tahoma High School was the largest high school in the State of Washington. The school is situated on protected wetlands that have been converted to outdoor science and learning areas. The new school was designed and constructed with sustainable methods integrated into every phase, from utilizing sustainable materials for its construction, to energy efficient fixtures and equipment, LED lighting and recycled products.

The Tahoma High School project was the 2017 CMAA Construction over $50 Million Award Winner.
