Creating a seamless travel experience
Port of Seattle’s program realigned operations areas to improve utilization of the existing airport’s Main Terminal. Multiple airline tenants were at the forefront: American Airlines, JetBlue, and Frontier. The ticket counter and office tenant improvements consisted of a full re-design and renovation of the Zone 5 area of the Main Terminal, and all associated airline ticket office spaces.
Fast-paced work and collaboration with an extensive group of Port and Airline stakeholders were essential for project success. OAC managed the design team through conceptual planning and design, while providing pre-construction support. From meeting aggressive schedules to managing the complex phasing of an occupied facility, our team was there to weigh in with an expert perspective on it all.
Once the detailed relocations, expansions, and tenant improvements were complete, it provided passengers with a seamless travel experience that can be appreciated for years to come.
