Luxurious accommodations for owners and guests
Building on the success of the Humbird Hotel and Ski/Hut projects, Schweitzer Mountain Properties engaged OAC to be the construction manager on their new condominium development in the Schweitzer Village – the first offering of this magnitude in over 20 years. This 36,351-square-foot addition to the existing White Pines lodge adds 26 luxury ski-in/ski-out condominiums units and addresses the demand for single family residences on the mountain.
Given the challenges of design and construction in a mountain environment, Schweitzer wanted OAC on their team. From concept to construction, OAC has provided oversite, cost controls, onboarding, and schedule inputs for the project. As part of the design team, our building envelope group worked to maximize the cladding and waterproofing systems to withstand the everchanging and harsh mountain conditions the building will sustain during its lifetime.
The project achieved substantial completion in June 2023 to enable the new condominium owners to enjoy the 2023-2024 ski season from atop the mountain. Within the first two hours of initial offering, all but one residence sold.
