Our relationship with Virginia Mason began almost a decade ago and still stands strong today. We’ve led multiple fiscal budget planning efforts and seamlessly become an extension of their Facilities Department, on the Seattle Virginia Mason campus, managing a $98-million program of projects.
Bringing a better set of solutions to the table, within 5 months of being hired, we saved Virginia Mason over $200,000 through negotiating contract markups with the general contractor. To date, project savings total more than $750,000. Additionally, with over 500 capital requests to budget, we worked with project teams to assemble real-cost data for better predictability and planning.
Currently, OAC is providing construction management services for Virginia Mason Medical Center on the rural medical center in Bellevue. The project’s completion is in parallel with the end of Virginia Mason’s current clinic lease date and is planned to relocate 20,000 square-feet of clinic services in one weekend.
